Living the Gita - Individual Study Project
September - December
The individual project takes 2-4 months, depending on your topic and ideas. Throughout the project, we meet once monthly to discuss and refine your ideas.
Here are the basic steps:
September:
-
Choose a topic and create a proposal. What exactly do you want to dive into? How will you share this with others? What is your timeline to complete your project and offer your session(s).
-
Start a daily practice based on your topic. If you are researching a certain type of meditation or types, try them out everyday for a while so you are able to share this experience with others.
-
Present you brief proposal at the end of the month.
October:
-
Research. How is the topic related to yoga or meditation? What types of practices are part of this topic or help in this situation? What programs are all ready available and how are they structured? Etc.
-
Present your findings at the monthly meetings
Nov - Dec
-
Develop your program. This may be a session, or a series of sessions or a full program.
-
When you have this completed you will present it and take us through a part of the program. This is your final piece for the project.
